A Bit About Me
Like most creatives my passions developed very early on in my life, I think I spent 90% of my time drawing (sort of) and making a mess with paints and glitter. I persued this interest and had a life changing experince at college which led me down the path of explore 3D crafts at university, where I achieve a 2.1 in Contemporary Crafts at Falmouth University in Cornwall.
Returning to Jersey, I took up residency in my beloved college and begun my career as a lecturer for the School or Art, Highlands College. That was some time ago now and since then I have continued to develop my own practice. Returning to education on evening courses to train on the pottery wheel and continue to explore print and wood work also.
Below is some insight into the exhibitions and craft events I have been involved in and also some background on jobs that have really infused well with my teaching practice.

develivering lecturers, workshops and supporting students in a range of different activities. Also supporting in the development of the curriculum, planning and assessment of student work.

Artist in Residence - Highlands College, School of Art
Produce artwork in a dedicated space, developing practice and business. Basic tutoring and assisting in projects and group discussions.
In my role on the commitee I attended weekly meetings, discussion applications for exhibition in the Berni Gallery and Bar Gallery spaces. I would also assit in the curation and assembling of various shows.
In my role as the Exhibition CoOrdinator for the Jersey Arts Centre, I liasised with exhibiting artists and touring shows, timetabling their installation, delivery and on one occasion transportation from the UK to Jersey. I would chair the meetings of the subcomittee and take minutes.
